With dual master's degrees in Design and Marketing, she graduated from the major of Design at Shenzhen University in 2015 and from the Fashion Retail Management major at the Business School of Birmingham City University in the UK. Once worked as a visiting lecturer at Shenzhen University. The research directions are marketing, fashion design, and furniture design.
There are two translated works: "Marine Sites of World Heritage: A Management Manual for Marine Protected Areas in the World [M]" by UNESCO in 2015, author: Fanny Dowell, translated by Sun Qian; "World Heritage and Community Development [M]" by UNESCO in 2010, authors: Maria-Teresa Albert, Marielle Richon, Marie-José Vignals, and Andrea Witcomb, translated by Sun Qian.
The work "Desert" once won the second prize in the National Silk Fashion Design Competition. With the work "Fanny", she won the title of "Best Designer" at the Shenzhen International Furniture Fair. She has one utility model patent, one software copyright, and one design patent.She participated in the Editorial Committee of "Encyclopedia of China: Volume of Design, Sub-volume of Dyeing, Weaving and Garments" and was one of the main writers.
She once obtained the qualification of being recommended for exemption from the postgraduate entrance examination at Shenzhen University and a full scholarship from Birmingham City University in the UK.
