A Doctor of Industrial Design from Northwestern Polytechnical University, he concurrently serves as a doctoral supervisor for Design at City University of Macau, a director of the China Ergonomics Society, a director of the User Experience Branch of the China Industrial Design Association, a director of the Silk Road Innovation Design Alliance, a director of the Guangdong Industrial Design Association, the vice president of the Longgang District Industrial Design Association in Shenzhen, and the vice president of the Shenzhen Gewu Industrial Design Institute.

He is in charge of the Innovation Design Research Institute of the China Industrial Design Association (in the field of medical devices) and the Industrial Design Innovation Center of the Innovation Center for Assistive Devices in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. He is also an expert in the expert database of the Industrial Design Field at the International Economic and Technological Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

He has published more than 70 academic papers, including over 40 in core journals and more than 10 indexed by SCI and EI. He has also published 3 works and textbooks. He has applied for 5 invention patents and holds more than 40 utility model patents, design patents, and software copyrights.

His main research directions include product innovation design, human-machine ergonomics, and cultural and creative product design. He has presided over the construction project of the characteristic major of industrial design in Guangdong Province, completed the construction of the provincial-level excellent course "Product Design", presided over and participated in the completion of a number of national and provincial-level projects. He has won the third prize of the Science and Technology Award of Shaanxi Provincial Universities, been selected into the Cultural and Creative Talent Support Program of the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture. Both he and the students he has guided have won more than 100 awards in competitions above the provincial level.
