He graduated from the School of Gemmology, China University of Geosciences (Wuhan). Currently serves as the Vice President and Deputy Secretary General of the Guangdong Carving Art Research Association, Deputy Director of the Design Professional Committee of the Guangdong Fashion and Accessories Association, and a judge for the Guangdong Rising Design Competition.

The research directions cover jewelry design, jade jewelry, jade culture and traditional jade carving techniques, as well as contemporary academic jade carving.
