Professor Liu Shengyuan graduated from Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts. He was formerly the Dean of the School of Architecture and Art Design at Liaoning University of Science and Technology, as well as a member of the university's Academic Committee. His main research directions include environmental design, industrial design, and the study of traditional Chinese painting.

He has been awarded the honorary titles of Excellent Teacher of the University, the Teacher Most Loved by Students, and Excellent Teacher of the Baosteel Education Foundation for many times. Over the years, he has completed more than 90 design projects and works in related fields. His design projects have won bids and provincial awards on multiple occasions. He has published more than 30 papers and works, presided over and participated in 19 provincial research projects, and published four works and textbooks. He has guided students to participate in professional design competitions and won seven awards above the provincial level.

He concurrently serves as the Vice President of the User Experience Branch of the China Industrial Design Association, the Vice President of the Shenzhen Industrial Design Association, and the Vice Chairman of the Shenzhen Art and Design Alliance.
