Graduated from Central Saint Martins, CSM in the UK and School of the Art Institute of Chicago, SAIC in the US, she also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in art and design teaching from the University of the Arts London, UAL in the UK. The main research directions are new media art, painting, and illustration.

She has published several SSCI papers and personal art portfolios. Her works have repeatedly won major awards in domestic and overseas art competitions and have been collected by multiple institutions and art galleries. She has presided over nearly ten projects, including those at the Guangdong provincial level and those of school-enterprise cooperation in research and development. The main awards she has received include the UOB Painting of The Year Competition, the EPDA European Product Design Award, and the Illustrators of the Future Contest. From 2010 to 2016, she had a column in Lianhe Zaobao in Singapore.
